The Green Bean Habitat House is located in Freeport, Maine. Situated on a small plot of land donated by the Town of Freeport, the building itself was donated by LL Bean and reassembled on the site on West St. Habitat for Humanity is overseeing the green construction project. The blog will keep track of the progress.

The house in winter
Just walked by the house yesterday (of course, no camera!) and it is looking really nice! I'll have to stop by sometime when the doors are open and get some inside pix.
Looks like great strides are being made!
